However, I really am very much enjoying this class! Very interesting and useful material we will need to know. One thing that might be helpful for the professor to know is the part time Dig Ed students have not yet taken pharmacology or the health assessment courses. The only reason I mention this is sometimes we have no yet been introduced to some of the material he tests us on, which is outside of the scope of the lectures and readings in this class. The way they teach is sometimes confusing because some teach as if we're all in a hospital setting and as if we're at the same level and setting as they are. It might help me learn a little bit better if some of the acronyms and medical slang weren't used right off the bat, but introduced a little more slowly. I think it's also done in a good way , for example not to discourage people with excessive high stakes exams, but to give people the material that they can dig into more. I printed all the ppts and made a binder of them as they seem like a good resource to hang onto in the future. I just wish there was a better way to make higher quality printouts because when i make them in the library they sometimes aren't so hot, and the imaging photos would be better i could get them printed out clearer. |

Student: 5This course requires many more hours of weekly study than is reflected by the number of credits.
Student: 6The modules seem out of order and quiz questions do not align with the module. The next weeks content will be in the current modules quiz. Also because of the order of the modules, the lecture containing how to read x-rays was in the last module so we didn't get taught to read xrays till two modules after we were quizzed on it

Very interesting and useful material we will need to know. One thing that might be helpful for the professor to know is the part time Dig Ed students have not yet taken pharmacology or the health assessment courses. The only reason I mention this is sometimes we have no yet been introduced to some of the material he tests us on, which is outside of the scope of the lectures and readings in this class. Otherwise, I'm very impressed and overall pleased with this course.

Student: 47I feel that sometimes Ray is a bit harsh when we ask questions. Instead of saying a simple yes or no comment, the responses make it seem like he is annoyed with us asking questions. I also feel like the quizzes were not always fair. We are just learning xrays and he is asking us to interpret them and what they mean... I think his powerpoints were not in depth enough for us to be able to answer these questions fairly. I feel that he needs to make sure he is pointing structures/ abnormalities out, so we can see them. Since we are online, he will talk about abnormalities, but we do not know exactly what he is talking about since he is not pointing them out. We just need more practice in these areas.
