When they ARE appropriately linked, the assignments pop up in our to-do lists, and the assignments can be organized by when they are due which is really necessary when we're juggling many tasks and responsibilities. The way it is now I have to scroll through all the assignments every single week and look at the title of the assignment to find the due date (and they are often listed in different formats etc) to make sure I'm not missing anything - the organization is really lacking and it's a barrier.
