I have felt this course to be incredibly overwhelming. I am not able to work as much as I'd like this semester so that I have time to complete assignments. The online videos have definitely been a struggle, and take several hours to get a good enough video. Also, I feel like the quizzes are very tricky and difficult. I have struggled to get 10's, while doing all the reading assignments. I also feel like several assignments were not explained well such as the Soap note's. I still have a bit of confusion regarding them. I do believe I have gained a lot from this course, however did feel rushed with reading assignments that I really hope that information will be retained. I did feel I have learned physical exams pretty well due to this course. Overall, this course has been a wealth of information I just feel very rushed through it and overwhelmed consistently throughout this semester. |

I don't know anyone in my program beside my one lab partner which is just to speak to related to our two projects so far. |

What is expected in the check-off videos is displayed on a rubric, but it is not explicitly stated how specific Dr. Jones wants us to do the videos until after they are completed. Unfortunately, she did not grade them for several weeks and this resulted in me having to go back and redo one of the videos from the beginning of the class assignments. Despite this, she expected that I should redo the video within days of the request, but with my current work, family obligations, concurrent challenging classes, and LOTS of schoolwork in this particular class, I would have preferred a more timely grading and request for re-completion so that I could have redone the video while it was fresh in my mind instead of several weeks later. Each video takes a lot of time, effort, and it is hard to one weekly, let alone several in the same week. There was also a quiz question that I challenged as it was possible that another answer could have been correct as well. She stated that while her TA agreed with me and that I had a case for this to possibly be correct as well, I was not awarded the point and it was not brought to the attention of the class. When similar issues happened on quizzes in other courses, regrading of the quiz and announcement to class were made. |

The professors in this course have been very helpful and wonderful. However, this course along side other high credit classes has been very difficult to manage. There are many assignments that take hours to complete each and they are multiple due each week. I would like to see this course more time efficient and lectures on the text book required readings as well. |

I understand that much of the graded content consists of long videos and they probably take an abundance of time to watch and evaluate, however, I do wish our grades/feedback for our assignments have been in a more timely fashion. So far, we have had many similar assignments due somewhat back to back without receiving a lot of feedback for the ones turned in prior to the next. It is difficult to know where to improve or avoid making similar mistakes when you aren't 100% sure where you stand. This is especially crucial when all of your interactions are remote and it is not as easy or convenient to ask for feedback. Should I have been in the face-to-face program, it would be a little simpler to pick the brain of my instructor in casual conversation and better grasp the expectations. Again, I totally understand that it must take time to get through grading these assignments, but just sharing my perspective! |

This class has way too much content to just be a one semester course. In order to read everything in the text as well as the articles, watch the videos, do the Shadow Health, SOAP notes, check-offs, it is over 40 hours a week. I do not think you can work and take this class and be successful, it is just too much. I think that the Shadow Health component is not really that useful compared to the other content. |
